Photographer Richard Caldicott was commissioned to shoot an image for
this book's cover related to the themes of Seeing & Writing 2. In the
final version, the book's designers arranged Caldicott's photographs on
the front and inside covers. Click on the alternative cover images to

Richard Caldicott's bio: Richard Caldicott is a contemporary British artist. He uses the medium of color photography to transform still lifes of common everyday domestic objects into visceral and luminous works of art. Exploring the borderline between objectivity and abstraction, these photographs continually ask the viewer to engage beyond the merely representational surface of the work.
