How to Use Your Word ProcessorFormatting Line Spacing and AlignmentUsing your word processor or desktop publishing program, you can format line spacing and alignment using menu commands, keyboard commands, and toolbars. In Microsoft Word, you can set margins by clicking on the FILE > PAGE SETUP menu command. To format spacing and alignment, select the text you want to format and then use one of the following techniques: Menu Commands: Choose the FORMAT > PARAGRAPH command from the main menu. You can also select the Paragraph command from the context menu, which can be activated by right-clicking (in Windows) or command-clicking (on the Macintosh).
