How to Use Your Word Processor

Saving a File as a Web Page

Saving a file as a Web page is typically accomplished through menu or toolbar commands. In Microsoft Word, use either of the following techniques:

Menu Commands: Use the FILE > SAVE AS WEB PAGE menu command. The Save As dialog box will open with the file type set as a Web page (HTM, or HTML file). You can specify the name of the file, the title of the file (which appears in the title bar of a Web browser that opens the file), and the location where you want to save the file.
