Conducting a Search of the Deep Web

Many specialized topics are addressed through databases or database-supported Web sites that, although accessible through the Web, are not indexed by conventional Web search sites, such as Google or AllTheWeb. These sites are referred to collectively as the Deep Web or the Invisible Web because they are not easily found by the search technologies used by leading search sites.
