How to Search a Database

Conducting a Simple Search on the ERIC Database: Step 1

In this search, we'll look for ERIC records regarding the topic of low voter turnout. If you would like to complete the steps in this demonstration on your own, please visit ERIC at http://www.eric.ed.gov. Carry out the following steps:

  1. Type voter turnout in the Search field.
  2. Note the options in the drop-down menu. You can search for keywords, titles, authors, and ERIC documents.
  3. Click on the Search button.
  4. Click on the Continue button below.
